Low Elo

I used to main Twitch as well, and I experienced what everybody did with him. As far as I played in random queue, it seemed that very few people countered him adequately, which resulted often in snowballing games. 32-0-8 and the sorts... until I began playing him as my only AD carry (yea, I know..) in premades on the lowelo chat. Man, was I shut down. Opponents now knew exactly what to do to make me useless every time, even with a good support by my side, and I understood right there why they needed to change him.

After this rework, his q needs a lot of adjustment since its short duration, as you say, makes it so that you cannot rely on it at all now. I think every former Twitch user experienced it at least once at its expanse, going on ambush to get past the opposing champs, only to appear in their target zone and getting crushed. But at the same time, it's good because relying on it too much made him easily countered by purples and oracles and zoning etc, which is less the case now. His q feels like a bonus, now. Something that's you'll use in specific situations when you know you won't be seen. It seems to me that he is now more like the others AD carries out there, and you CAN now use him in such fashion without getting ripped or stigmatized! I'm know he's not as good as the best AD carries you see so often, but he can and will be played, in my opinion, which was their intent, I think.

I actually like what they did to his w. One more harass, and more useful in team fights. The first 3 levels are rough, I'll give you that, but after 4, it's less and less difficult to poke them with w and expunge (I love those 2 stacks that it gives), and you can catch CS more easily since your opposition stays more at a distance.

He's just as squishy as before, though, but every AD carry is (except this damned Graves). Still, if Riot wants to see him played in higher ranks, I agree they'd have to buff him again. I was actually wondering how he'd be now as a jungler and wanted to try him, but it's true that without a longer stealth, he's far more vulnerable to other junglers... especially Lee Sin. You need big damage and good mobility to make him useful as he's a ganking jungler and not a farmer, but you can't gank effectively before having farmed a bit. This must be the end of jungling Twitch, indeed.
