Jungle isn't my thing, but I am best on Lee Sin and Malphite.

to be honest certain junglers can be best depending on what you want. the best gankers would be like a nautilus, tons of cc for getting kills. the best clear times would be mumu or olaf i believe. and then junglers like lee sin or shyvana or great at giving buffs aways and not falling behind. nocturn is a strong all-around jungler, with decent clear speed strong sustain and 1 form of hard cc for ganks, but hes not the "best" by any means. what im trying to say here is that best is based on what your team needs, so the best pick one game may be the worst possible pick the next game

In general Im a pretty fail ganker, but honestly Soraka is one of the most fun and she (in a non serious setting) actually feels pretty good as a jungler, my BEST though would be malphite, maokai or shen as those are the few I feel I can reliably gank with and won't get completely wrecked if I lose my blue or get counter jungled.

My best jungler is Alistar and Udyr. It's my opinion so don't see how anyone can contest any of these choices that people say (looking at you Gaspump). After all the topic says who in your opinion is your best jungler... And you can't argue against someone else's opinion of who their best jungler is.

A jungler's power by himself, and a Jungler's power as part of a given team are two very different things as well.
My favorite at the moment is Xin Zhao- that dude is friggin OP. But- I won't argue that he's the best choice for every team. His role is that of an early ganker- and on some teams it's going to be more important to have a late game tank- like Amumu or Alistar. However, simply from a fun level- ganking and invading is so much cooler than passive farming, and it tends to win games if the other team doesn't know how to respond.

I am terrible at jungling since they nerfed the jungle.. I guess I'm able to do SOMETHING with Amumu, and can still catch up with a shyvana if she stole my blue with the extreme ganking. Since his recent rebalances, he's less relying on blue

Malphite is great for late game.
Lee sin will force their team to stay together, or die to you.
Udyr stun is fantastic.
As for 'best' jungler... I would say the person that has the biggest impact on the game can be one of a few...
Maokai and initiate, Malphite and his initiate, and Nunu and his ult. Those three make teams play around them. Other jungles are great, but those would be my top picks for best. Udyr, Trundle, Nautilus, Pantheon, and a few others are great and can still do amazing things. But imo don't have as big of an impact. (unless it's a semi-fed to fed pantheon)

I like Lee sin best, he does well at ganking early on, he has got so many ways to escape from a caught counterjungle and in teamfights, he does really well at guarding his carries by shielding them or kicking away the enemies.
I also like Trundle, he will never get any health problems in the jungle, his level 3 ganks are awesome with a red buff and his ult and q steals the enemy sooooo many stats it's incredible.
The last one on my list is Jarvan, i love lane-ganking from the bushes, his e-q combo is amazing and his shield makes him bulky, while he can easily catch the carries of guard in fights with his ult.

Wow, I didn't think I would get this many replies. Thank you all for the very well put answers on who your best jungler is and your input on jungling in general. I agree with every single one of you about how good those champions are in the jungle, well maybe not soraka (Iv'e done it too, and I'll admit is was fun though lol),

There can never be a "Best Jungler" Just a jungler you excel more with, or fits your team better.
Some of my personal favorites -
Evelynn - Much beligned, I still love new Evelynn. Her Jungle clear is pretty sexy so long as she can hog that blue for the first 20 mins. She's so strong at ganking if your opponents don't go pink early, and if they do your lanes can use the gold advantage and you can carry on farming up.
Warwick - Who can't love a werewolf on the prowl. His Jungle sustain is just immense, and his surpress is fantastic in the mid-late game team fights or early ganks. Very easily counterable however I never feel happy with him in Ranked.
Cho'gath - Yes you heard me right! With sustain equal to warwick, double smite, his jungle snowballs into the mid-game. Some intresting gank mechanics and not needing to get the kill. Probably not going to work higher up but still enjoyable.
Lustriga
The only jungler i can actually play is Amumu. You get out of the jungle almost with full health (his E reduces damage). I don't see many people playing him tho... I'm trying to get Maokai, but i can never finish the whole jungle at once... He's been appearing a lot in pro games.

Maokai is actually pretty easy to play in the jungle. his only problem is his movement speed, but who cares when you got a dash :D

I like Nocturne as my favorite jungler.
Whenever I think about Junglers I picture a triangle in my head where the points are 1: Gank, 2: Clear, and 3: Invade. I think that Nocturne excels at all three of these, his spell shield can save you in a teamfight or turn what would have been a bad gank into a successful kill conversion, not to mention that his ultimate is great in all stages of the game, ganking, counter-ganking, and diving in teamfights.

Nautilus is the best imo. Every gank is a kill or a flash, and provides tons of damage and cc by himself. He is also a tank, and does well in that role. Only problem is his movement speed is slow, so if the river is warded he can't get to the lane in time unlike other faster champs. Just takes good warding, counter-warding, and communication from the lanes.

Its all about the Amumu. That Ultimate and his bandage stun is more CC then people realise. His ult late game is a team fight winner. So good. Trying to learn skarner at the moment for the 100 game challenge but it is not going well at all

When I play jungle, I usually run with AD Kayle. She probably isn't the best, but I am most comfortable with her, and she ganks well. All she needs is a bit more CC and I would be ecstatic.

Honestly, I'm really not the best jungler. If I'm going to jungle though I typically would want Amumu or Nautilus. Amumu has the bandage pull which is great for entering a lane to help get a good gank off and Nautilus has the anchor pull. They can both be really tanky during late game and have pretty good cc.

I have found that my best jungler is Nocturne, he's fast, he's got cc, he's got a shield, and nobody is getting away from him when his ult is up. he's a walking nightmare on summoners rift.
