Episode 12: “What It's All About” by Dexter Britain

League of Legends is awesome. We like to think that our show, Low Elo, is pretty cool too. It only makes sense that we find music just as cool as we are. Let me introduce to you Dexter Britain, the artis behind this week's track "What It's All About".

In his own words, Dexter is a composer, producer and songwriter working on creating contemporary classical music, film scores, and popular music /songs for chart release. Also he is a creative director amongst other things. His music is very cool and deserves greater attention that what we can really give it. Check him out at dexterbritain.co.uk.

Episode 11: “Otar kushanashvile” by Nambavan

Low Elo loves russians. We love their vodka. We love their women. We love their League of Legends strats. We especially love their music. This week's track is another out of russia by an artist named Nambavan.

Nambavan lives in the Russian republic of Tatarstan. He began composing music on his first pc in 2000 and got expelled from guitar lessons for not remembering the songs a few years later.

Nowadays he works with his pc, an $80 guitar and a Casio keyboard. His musical diet consists of Blondie, the Sex Pistols, Cerrone, Sonic Youth, Jimi Hendrix, Iggy Pop, The Doors, Giorgio Moroder, Donna Summer, Madonna, Supermax, and the Bee Gees.

Episode 10: “From Here To Shanghai” by Gene Greene

Public domain music isn't exactly my style but then again Episode 10 of Low Elo was edited and arranged by Dave due to the fact that I was unexpectedly out of town at the time of recording. That said... this is a pretty cool little track.

Eugene Delbert Greene lived from 1857 to 1930 and was better known as Gene Greene. He was an American entertainer, singer and composer, nicknamed The Ragtime King. As a vaudeville star he made some of the earliest sound recordings of scat singing (wordless improvisation) in 1911.

Greene was closely associated with the song "I Didn't Raise My Boy to Be a Soldier" by Alfred Bryan and Al Piantadosi. It was one of the extremely few anti-war music-hall songs during the First World War with most such songs being fiercely pro-war. This reflected the views of Chicago's large German population at the time. That said the song was also well known, and very controversial, in Britain.

Modern recordings of Greene are very scarce.
