Episode 7: “No correspondido” by Las Ruinas

What is it about Spain, League of Legends and Low Elo that makes for such a wonderful combination? Here's our second act out of Spain, Las Ruinas.

Las Ruinas is a heavy pop and low fi thunderstorm from Barcelona Spain. Created by Eduardo Chirinos (originally from Lima, Peru) when he moved to Barcelona eight years ago, Las Ruinas began as a solo project and then after a couple of shows and a lot of great local reviews two more members joined the band and together they start recording their self-produced first record “Butano”.

Episode 6: “100,000 Women Can't Be Wrong" by Marshall Scott Warner

Back to the USA for the Low Elo League of Legends podcast as we introduce you to Marshall Scott Warner for some more rockabilly love. Also, that's a lot of womens!

I don't really know much about Marshall. There's not much out there about him, really. All I know is that his flavor of Americana Rockabilly is genuine and fun. He has this to say on his MySpace (musicians still use that site):

"Most often though, when I start counting off a song its going to be rockabilly. That is the music I am in love with and I can not get away from. It just has gotten in my bones."

Episode 5: "Monkey Said" by The Freak Fandango Orchestra

For episode 5, Low Elo brings a Spanish act to the League of Legends stage.

The Freak Fandango Orchestra is a multi-ethnic band from Barcelona (Spain). Their music is a explosive mixture of folk, polka, gypsy music from the Balkans and punk-rock. The band is formed by six musicians (guitar, bass, drums, violin, saxophone and accordion). They are influenced by artists like "Emir Kusturica And The No Smoking Orchestra", "Goran Bregović" and "Gogol Bordello". The freak fandango orchestra has arrived to town, so move your ass, drink some beer, sing, dance, jump and enjoy their punky-folky songs and crazy lyrics!
